1934 - Bouquet Canyon Reservoir, replacement for ill-fated St. Francis Dam & reservoir, begins to fill with water [story]
Bouquet Reservoir

The Child & Family Center celebrates 35 years of service to the Santa Clarita Valley this year and will mark the occasion in grand style.

Supporters of the center are invited to a special celebration Sept. 9 to recognize the founders of the organization as well as past and present staffer and sponsors – and their long list of accomplishments.

Organizers say rather than a sit-down dinner or lengthy speeches, the evening will be filled with food and fun.

The soiree will be held in the Child & Family Center’s Education Building at 21545 Centre Pointe Parkway from 6:35 p.m. to 8:35 p.m.

Cost is $35 per person and includes beverages, appetizers, dessert bar and entertainment. Attire is business casual. RSVP by Aug. 30 by mail to the Child & Family Center at the address above, or call 661-255-6847 ext. 3018.
