September 1 – Get Acquainted Breakfast

This breakfast was developed with the new member in mind but is open to all members who feel they need a refresher course on all of the benefits of Membership.

September 2 – Micro Enterprise Committee

This is more of a group than a committee. Comprised of Micro Business owners, businesses with less that 5 employees, this group seeks to mentor and support each other through education and information.

September 8 – Quarterly Luncheon – Sponsored by Kaiser Permanente

This is a don’t miss event! We will be honoring 3 returning veterans, awarding our first Sgt. Ian Gelig scholarship and hearing some relevant information on “How to create a healthy workforce.”

September 9 – Lunch & Learn – Mistakes Employers Commonly Make

Sponsored by Kanowsky & Associates. Come and have lunch in the Chamber office while hearing some relevant information.

September 13 – Business Leaders Forum

This is a group of mid sized business owners committed to mentoring one another on business challenges they face.

After a summer hiatus this popular lunch time networking group is back!

Metrolink to Hold Public Meetings on AV Line Capacity, Improvements
The 76.6-mile-long Antelope Valley Line has the third-highest ridership in Metrolink’s system with an estimated average of 9,000 passengers daily. However, the uneven terrain and single-tracking along the line in some areas forces trains to travel at a slower speed which results in an estimated travel time of approximately one hour between Santa Clarita and Union Station.
