[Disney Store] – The Disney Store will celebrate the grand opening of the newly-designed store at the Westfield Valencia Town Center on Saturday, April 14.

The Valencia Town Center store is a relocation of an existing store and the remodeled location interactive and magical experiences for Disney fans of all ages. Guests will have an opportunity to meet Buzz Lightyear, Woody and Jesse from Toy Story on Level Two, The Patios in the Children’s Wing from noon to 4 p.m.

Disney Store’s new design concept aims to deliver “the best 30 minutes of a child’s day” through storytelling neighborhoods featuring a Disney Princess with magic mirror, translucent trees, and the Disney Store Theatre featuring the latest Disney entertainment.

With each new store opening in 2012, Disney Store will donate 10 percent of grand opening day’s sales to the Make-A-Wish Foundation in the United States.

 

Saturday April 14, 2012

* 10 a.m. – Disney Store Opening Ceremony and a local child from the Make-A-Wish Foundation “Unlocks Imagination.” The first 500 guests will receive a free gift.

* 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. – Meet and Greet with Buzz Lightyear, Woody and Jessie on Level Two, The Patios in the Children’s Wing. Don’t forget to bring your camera!

Characters alternate every 30 minutes. Character appearances are subject to change or cancellation without notice.
