Severe shortages in local blood banks have caused grave concerns over availability of blood supplies in the local area. Mission Valley Bank is encouraging those in the Santa Clarita Valley to roll up their sleeves and volunteer to donate blood to help local medical care providers. Give a pint, save a life. Registration is now open for those interested in donating blood at either event. Photo identification is required at the time of donation.
