The 2013 B2B Industry Show is right around the corner, coming up March 19 at the Hyatt Regency Valencia and featuring an exciting keynote address from Men’s Wearhouse founder George Zimmer.

This year’s exhibition hall will feature booths from nearly 50 local companies, setting the stage for great networking opportunities in the SCV business community.

The day kicks off with a keynote luncheon at 11:30 a.m., featuring Zimmer, Men’s Wearhouse’s founder and executive chairman. A dynamic entrepreneur, Zimmer will share some of the secrets of his success since founding the popular menswear chain 40 years ago.

After the luncheon, the trade show floor will be open through the afternoon. Attendees are encouraged to pick up and a complete a “B2B Passport”, with prizes being given out for the most “stamps” collected. Passport prizes – ranging from a night’s stay at the Hyatt to vital business services – will be announced during the VIP reception, starting at 5:30 p.m. and featuring drinks at the B2B Lava Lounge and plenty of opportunity for after-hours networking.

“My target is to reach other businesses in the SCV and develop long-term relationships. The B2B show has definitely allowed me to do that,” said Deborah Grandinetti of Valencia-based Payroll Providers. She said while she views the B2B show as primarily a networking opportunity, she has repeatedly garnered new clients there.

That is just one of the strengths of the B2B show, according to Kathy Norris, president and CEO of VIA.

“More than ever, personal connections are one of the most vital foundational elements in a business relationship,” she said. “The B2B show provides an atmosphere where professionals can make face-to-face connections and lay the groundwork for doing business together.”

Tickets are still just $99, which includes the keynote luncheon, access to the trade show and the VIP reception. Entrance to the trade show only is $25.

The B2B show takes the place of the regular monthly VIA luncheon. The next regular luncheon is scheduled for April 16 at the Valencia Country Club.
