Kinda funny how that works. Life is so precious that you will do everything you can to save an unborn fetus, but what happens after it is born? You’re done right? Fetus saved off we go! That thing growing in that ladies belly is so freaking important right up until its born. I’m gonna go out on a limb here and bet you’ve never offered to help pay any of Octomom’s bills. Or any single woman struggling to get by with several children. Or especially any woman that knew she didn’t want or couldn’t afford children but was prevented from having an abortion and is now struggling to get by or letting society raise that child. Fair is fair right. It comes down to this: IF YOU’RE GOING TO BE ANTI-ABORTION YOU BETTER BE PRO FREE HEALTH CARE!!
Do you realize what you are saying? That if one believes in another’s fundamental right to not be deprived of life that one must also hold government responsible for the basic needs of that individual. Your stance dehumanizes the victims of abortions by essentially positing that they are better off dead than alive with no health insurance. You also make gross generalization about pro-life conservatives, the government is not the only source of support for the poor. One can believe in the right to life, small government and in preferential treatment of the poor.
Apparently, you’ve never heard of “adoption” as an option. Might want to check into that.
