Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station Crime Prevention Unit
This past week in Zone 7, the following Part-1 Crimes occurred:
(1) Aggravated Assault, (1) Commercial Burglary, (2) Vehicle Burglaries, (2) Shoplift, (3) Grand Thefts and (2) Petty Thefts
An aggravated assault occurred near the 26800 block of Sierra Highway. Three male suspects attacked the victim in the rear alley of the location. The victim sustained moderate injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital. The case is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Station Detectives.
A vehicle burglary occurred near the 28000 block of Whites Canyon Road. An unknown suspect shattered the rear driver side window of the and took personal items from the vehicle. A second vehicle burglary occurred in the LA Fitness parking lot located at 26455 Golden Valley Road. An unknown suspect shattered the front passenger window of the vehicle and took several electronic devices.
A male suspect was arrested for a shoplift/burglary near the 26400 block of Carl Boyer Drive. The suspect attempted to steal a television when he was detained by loss prevention personnel. The suspect was subsequently arrested by responding deputies.
A grand theft occurred near the 18600 block of Via Princessa. Unknown suspects took several bales of cardboard from the rear loading dock of the location. The case is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Station Detectives.
