[KHTS] – “Learn Facebook Secrets” is both the name and purpose of the next free “Internet How” workshop for Santa Clarita business owners who use Facebook for marketing. Los Angeles SEO expert and Internet marketer Chaz Key of Nine Eye Interactive Media (http://nineeye.com) is hosting the workshop in Valencia on Tuesday, April 29, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

facebookKey has invited Santa Clarita-based social media and Facebook Marketer Anthony Franck to be guest instructor at the “Learn Facebook Secrets” how-to workshop.

In his presentation, Franck will demystify Facebook marketing for small business and demonstrate proven techniques and tips that will help catapult a business’s Facebook page from obscurity to fame, and possibly fortune, while also reducing the cost of advertising.

What Makes Anthony Franck a Social Media and Facebook Marketing Expert?

“Anthony has been developing and running Facebook marketing strategies for about two years now,” Key said. “He is paid to do this, for companies that generate millions of dollars a year, and use Facebook as a strategic ingredient of their marketing.”

Based in Santa Clarita, Anthony Franck manages social media for a variety of major clients but specializes in Facebook marketing strategies for businesses.

In the past seven months, Franck has nearly doubled the “likes” for one of his clients, a large vocational training company that generates $16 million in annual revenue. He started with the company’s existing 12,961 likes, and by using highly focused Facebook marketing techniques, he increased the number to 22,859.

While engaging and developing relationships with more potential customers on Facebook, Franck has also saved the client money by reducing its advertising expenditures, from $50-$75 per ad to $5-$7 per ad, a savings of more than $15,000 so far.

“We changed the way the company markets to their people,” Franck said. “Before, the company wasn’t getting good engagement. Turning that around was mainly by identifying their brand ideals, improving the way they created their posts, what they said in them, and how they reached and engaged the people we market to on Facebook.”

‘Learn Facebook Secrets’ Covers Facebook Marketing Basics, Latest Insider Tips

As the “Learn Facebook Secrets” workshop guest speaker Tuesday night, Franck plans to cover the fundamentals as well as the insider secrets of successful Facebook management and marketing for a business page, a niche or a fan page.

Franck designed his “Learn Facebook Secrets” presentation to help new as well as experienced Facebook users market their business, and his techniques are entirely “white-hat.” This free workshop is a preview of a new Facebook training product set for release in June 2014.

“We’re going to talk about the old systems of Facebook, and with the recent algorithm changes they’ve made in the last 30-60 days, what has changed and how you can adapt to still be effective,” he said.

Franck also plans to discuss a current case study in which he spiked a Facebook page’s likes in a week and a half. He took a page from zero likes to 880, uncovering the target demographic in the process using simple and affordable $5 Facebook ad sequencing.

“I will reveal and teach the class the specific post sequence I’m running and show how effective it can be for your Facebook business page,” he said.

Branding, Advertising are Keys to Good Facebook Marketing Strategy

“We’re going to talk about reaching your target audience, what you want to say to them, understanding who they are, and why that’s really important,” Franck said. “We’ll show some original content we’re sharing, and ways to find and share others’ content for your page to share with your fans.

“Finally, we’ll cover cross-posting from other fan pages, and sharing other people’s content that’s relevant to your business’s niche,” he said.

Facebook advertising will be a key segment of the “Learn Facebook Secrets” workshop.

“We’ll show how to run ads from those targeted pages in the Facebook ad selection editor, and talk about reducing your Facebook ad spending to an affordable budget with a system that works for your business.”

The ‘Learn Facebook Secrets’ Takeaway

Key and Franck expect to turn a roomful of local Santa Clarita small business owners into freshly savvy Facebook marketers by the end of the workshop.

“If they come into this workshop and did not already use Facebook for their business, they’ll be able to take away the solid foundation they need to build on and be successful using Facebook marketing,” Franck said.

“If they already manage Facebook for their business, they will learn all the tricks to reducing ad spending and still be effective with the new algorithm changes on a $5-7 ad budget,” he said.

‘Internet How’ Series: Knowledge is Power

“Learn Facebook Secrets” is the latest in Key’s “Internet How” series of free how-to workshops for Santa Clarita-area businesses.

He launched “Internet How” on March 25 with “How to Build a WordPress Site in 60 Minutes.” His most recent “Internet How” workshop was The Perfect Post: How to Create the Perfect Post or Page” on April 15.

“The ‘Internet How’ series is exactly what the title states — it’s the how-to of the Internet,” Key said. “The idea with ‘Internet How’ is to shed some light on some of the tough things people are dealing with on the Internet. That could include how to set up affiliate marketing to setting up a workstation or installing, configuring and using a piece of software. There are many different challenges people run into, and ‘Internet How’ will help teach them how turn those challenges into advantages.”

Key’s “Internet How” workshops are free to all members of his Meetup Group. For details, click here.

Key also hosts the free “SEO So Easy!” series of basic search engine optimization workshops, launched in 2013.
