The Santa Clarita Public Library launched a new Kids’ Space website, Kids.SantaClaritaLibrary.com, a fun, learning-inspired resource uniquely designed to meet the needs of students, teachers and parents.
The Kids’ Space website is a digital platform providing current Library resources and information that is user-friendly for parents of babies and toddlers, preschoolers, elementary school-age kids, home school families and teachers. Students and educators can easily navigate the new site to find valuable information, including reading lists, databases and websites for homework, games, events at each Library branch, catalogs and much more. The site also includes more reading lists for children of all ages that are linked to the Santa Clarita Public Library’s catalog, which was something parents requested.
“The City is committed to providing youth and their families with the resources they need to be academically successful,” commented Mayor Laurene Weste. “The Kids’ Space website is a great way to engage young readers by making learning fun and easily accessible,” she added.
Users can also stay connected to all Santa Clarita Public Library happenings, including events and programming, important notifications, and educational tips using the website’s Blog.
