Valencia Hills Community Church is happy to announce the “Unofficial” Grand Opening of its own church facility July 27. The new worship facility is located at 24933 Avenue Stanford, Valencia.
For nearly 14 years Valencia Hills Community Church (VHCC) has grown, meeting in local school MPRs, theatres and most recently the Valencia High School gymnasium. More than two years ago, the leadership began searching the Santa Clarita Valley for an appropriate site to house the growing church, and in November of last year the church signed a lease on the new property. After several months of renovation, the building is now ready for occupancy.
Senior Pastor Dennis Stoneman said the church’s internal focus as they prepare to embark on this new journey is three-fold: “We want to honor our past, become increasingly active in the present and be excited about the future.”
As part of the “Unofficial” Grand Opening Celebration, there will be two Sunday services at 9:00 and 10:30 am, featuring contemporary music by special guest worship leaders Jeff Vincent, Ryan Knight and Paul Hoover.
“We are very excited about this new facility,” said Stoneman. “It will allow us to expand our ministry, add new programs and activities and serve our community better.”
Reaching The Least, The Last, The Lost…
Valencia Hills Community Church has a friendly and welcoming environment, a casual style of communication, exciting music, quality programs for teens and children, engaging and compelling ministries for men and women, an unswerving dedication to teach the primacy of the Bible, and a passion to meet the needs of the people of the Santa Clarita Valley and beyond. Led by Pastor Stoneman, VHCC is poised to continue to reach the community for Christ, and to take the Good News of Jesus Christ to the least, the last, and the lost.
As they look to the future, VHCC’s dream of making a difference in the Santa Clarita Valley continues. Stay tuned as God inhabits the people of Valencia Hills Community Church.
The public is cordially invited to attend the celebration. For more information, visit the church’s website at www.valenciahills.com or contact the church office at (661)775-1885.
