The City of Santa Clarita is calling residents to take part in a public opinion poll to share their thoughts on City services, local issues and the types of amenities they would like to see in Santa Clarita. The poll will be conducted via telephone and online at santa-clarita.com/survey.
Every two years, the City of Santa Clarita conducts a statistically valid telephone poll to learn what residents think about City services. The 2014 survey also calls residents to weigh in on future plans for Santa Clarita, which will impact City planning for the next three to five years. The survey is also available online for all residents to weigh in at santa-clarita.com/survey.
“The City of Santa Clarita was founded on the principle of providing an open and non-bureaucratic government that is receptive and responsive to the needs of the community,” said Mayor Laurene Weste. “That commitment stands today, and the public survey provides another way for residents to speak up about what they want to see and do in the City, weigh in on current services, and play an active role in shaping Santa Clarita.”
The City is looking to collect feedback from the entire community for the survey, including residents, local business owners, elected or appointed officials, local non-profit, community and faith- based organizations, as well as hobby and sporting groups. Survey results will be analyzed and taken into consideration as the City maps out public services, amenities and infrastructure planning throughout the coming years.
The community is encouraged to share their ideas and feedback at www.santa-clarita.com/survey.

I know we have a skate park, do we have a boys/girls club here? Someplace for them to be safe and hang out with friends? Just curious.
The City of Santa Clarita is in great need to offer a cultural site where all of the arts will be housed for the residents to be able to visit seven days of the week… and enjoy Visual Art Exhitibts, Profesional Art Lectures, Visual art demonstrations, View art moives, see theater productions and dance productions, offer art classes for children and adults create a art library where residents can go and look at art books , relax and enjoy the images of different periods of art… Today there are NO ART GALLERIES, NO ART MUSEUM, NO ART TRIPS OFFERED TO GO TO ART MUSEUMS IN DIFFERENT CITIES, Sandta Clarit a has not given opportunities to have All of the Arts offered in a site that can be called an ART CENTER…
THE CITY NEEDS TO PLAN now for the ARTS to be important in the lives of its residents.
There are many empty buildings that can be purchased to create an ART CENTER.
