There was one vehicle burglary and three thefts from unlocked vehicles reported over the past week. The vehicle burglary and one of the thefts from unlocked vehicles occurred in the 21600-21700 blocks of Canyon Heights Circle in the early morning hours of September 12th. Both victims discovered that miscellaneous items had been stolen from their vehicles. Detectives are looking into both incidents.

Helpful Hint: Please remember to lock your vehicle when leaving it unattended. Remember to take any items of value with you or store them out of view or in your trunk. Most of the thefts from vehicles are crimes of opportunity and the would be thief will move on to another vehicle if your vehicle is secure.
