Snapshot for 09/29/2014 to 10/05/2014
This past week in Zone 7, the following Part-1 Crimes occurred:
A residential burglary occurred near the 18700 block of Vista Del Canon. Person(s) unknown pried open the victim’s front door and stole cash and other personal documents from within. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
An attempt residential burglary occurred near the 26900 block of Flo Lane. Person(s) unknown attempted to pry open the victims front door but was unsuccessful. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
A petty theft occurred near the 19400 block of Soledad Canyon Road. While at the above location, the victim placed his cell phone and wallet on a table to use the restroom. When he returned his property was missing. A short time later the victim used his wife’s cell phone to track his stolen phone and saw it was in LAPD’s jurisdiction. The victim contacted LAPD and they detained the suspect and transported him to Santa Clarita Valley Station where the suspect was arrested. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
A petty theft occurred near the 19300 block of Cedarcreek Street. The victim had her medication taken from her jacket pocket which was hanging up in her bedroom closet. The victim stated the medication was possibly taken by a family member. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
Two separate shoplifting’s occurred near the 26400 block of Carl Boyer Drive. In both incidents, the suspect were arrested by Deputy Personnel. Both incidents are currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
