Roma KhetarpalLocal author and “parentologist” Roma Khetarpal will speak to parents and sign her new release “The Perfect Parent: 5 Tools for Using Your Inner Perfection to Connect with Your Kids” on Friday, Oct. 10, at 7 p.m. at Barnes & Noble, 23630 Valencia Blvd.

A percentage of event sales will be donated to the SCV Education Foundation to purchase materials for local public school teachers, on behalf of Barnes & Noble. Raffle prizes will be provided by PayForward, a new social financial platform that turns instant rebates into powerful resources for families.

The “Perfect” Parent offers tips on how parents can empower themselves and their kids by using the 5 tools of communication. It enhances ways to successfully connect with kids, build confidence and self-esteem in a short, useful, and enjoyable guide.

The “Perfect” Parent, endorsed by Dr. Shefali Tsabary, clinical psychologist, speaker and author of the award-winning book The Conscious Parent, is receiving critical acclaim, as a Publisher’s Weekly recommendation.

Roma Khetarpal is the founder and CEO of Tools of Growth, through which she helps kids to “Be Happy, Think Positive, and Do Good”.
