[District Attorney] – A 29-year-old man was charged Friday with stabbing his ex-girlfriend’s mother and her roommate at a Burbank home, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced.
Cameron Reed Hansen faces two counts of attempted murder and one count of injuring a girlfriend in case GA095834.
Hansen pleaded not guilty Friday and is due back on April 9 in Department 1 of the Los Angeles County Superior Court, Burbank Branch.
On March 3, Hansen went to his ex-girlfriend’s home where he allegedly bit and attacked her, prosecutors said. When her mother and her roommate came to her aid, the defendant is accused of stabbing both women multiple times, prosecutors added.
Bail for Hansen is set at more than $2 million. If convicted as charged, the maximum possible sentence is life in state prison.
The case remains under investigation by the Burbank Police Department.
