Judith Crowe will demonstrate pastel painting at the May 18 meeting of the Santa Clarita Artists’ Association (SCAA). This event is free, open to the public and meets at 6:30 pm at Barnes & Noble, 23630 Valencia Blvd.
Crowe teaches classes at the Red Brick Gallery in Ventura, the Doyon Gallery in Camarillo, and occasionally at the Thousand Oaks Community Gallery. View her art on http://www.judithcrowe.com.
She enjoys painting with pastels and works weekly at Bert Collins’ studio in Ojai. In her studio, she also uses acrylics and oils. An award-winning artist, Crowe is a member of Pastel Society of the Gold Coast, Thousand Oaks Art Association, and Westlake Village Art Guild, and shows at galleries in Thousand Oaks, Ventura, Carpinteria, Pismo Beach, Morro Bay, New Orleans and New Hampshire.
In addition, her paintings hang in a number of private and corporate collections, including Los Robles Hospital and Kaiser Permanente offices in Thousand Oaks, and on the television show, How I Met Your Mother. As a booth artist, she demonstrated for UArt paper at the Pasadena Art Expo for several years.
