There Are a staggering number of respectable, hardworking, give back to the community men and women starting young families who live in that area who are saving up to buy homes. I’m sure you remember those days, unless you were raised with that silver spoon in your judgemental mouth in daddies expensive house and never had to rent an apartment before.

I actually moved to that complex ( on Annes circle ) 15 years ago. It was actually quite nice then. It soon went “section 8”. Not long after it went downhill. Soon you couldn’t even go to the pool without being hassled by gang banger types. Stuff stolen out of my garage… Sad. Finally a shooting 20 yards from my door was enough. (Luckily no one hurt). There went the neighborhood.
Wow! We must have been neighbors. I was there when that shooting happened to. 18026 annes. It was really quite back then. Almost retirement neighborhood like. Unfortunately I remember the transition from nice and quiet to ghetto.
I hate to use a term like “there goes the neighborhood” but…
The funny part is the place isn’t section 8 and not really “ghetto”.
