Public Safety and Crime Prevention Info for the week of 05/04/15 through 05/10/2015
Here’s a look back at the crimes reported in the Newhall area last week.
On Sunday the 10th at 10:33 p.m., a victim was robbed at gunpoint while withdrawing $100 from a Wells Fargo Bank ATM in the 24100 block of Lyons Avenue (at Wiley Canyon). The suspect was armed with a handgun and fled on foot.
On Tuesday the 5th, between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., a residential burglary occurred in the 24700 block of Spruce Street. The suspect entered the residence through a rear window and took electronics and jewelry.
Four adults and one juvenile were arrested in the Newhall area last week. Two for trespassing, one for narcotics, one for criminal threats, and one for vandalism.
Remember to lock your doors and windows, don’t leave packages or valuables in plain view, and be aware of your surroundings. Be a good neighbor and report suspicious behavior.
