New York State Police have arrested Michael Joe McGlothan, the suspect in the May 6 slaying of a Lancaster man in a Canyon Country apartment complex.
According to a police department statement, McGlothan, 51, was arrested without incident Monday at about 4 p.m. near a toll booth on the New York State Thruway in western New York.
McGlothan was arraigned in the Town of Dunkirk Court and taken to the Chautaugua County Jail pending an extradition hearing, the statement said.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s homicide investigators identified McGlothan as the suspect in the shooting death of Ledarion Allen Jr., 21, and the wounding of Allen’s girlfriend, who was treated for a gunshot wound at a local hospital.
The incident occurred in the 25700 block of Sierra Highway.

You can run but you can’t hide from the law. Thank goodness. Where’s the outrage?
Thank God!!!!!
Great job police officers again! Don’t know why these thugs think that they can hide! If we can find bin Laden in the cracks at the end of the earth we can definitely find a crusty maggot running around New York!
