The Love Ride Foundation plans to host its last Love Ride after more than 30 years of festivals with Grand Marshall Jay Leno, Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters at Castaic Lake.

The 32nd, and final, Love Ride festival, the largest and longest-running one day motorcycle charitable fundraising event in the world, is scheduled for Sunday, October 18, according to a news release sent out Tuesday.

“Love Ride is truly unique because it’s not just entertainment for charity,” said Oliver Shokouh, founder of the Love Ride, in a 2013 interview. “It’s a full-immersion experience that lets people participate in a way that raises the spirit of giving to high levels, mainly because it feels so good.”

This year’s event will include a 45 mile ride, two concerts, appearances by celebrity guests, custom bike and stunt shows, gourmet food trucks, a vendor exhibition fair and drawings for exclusive motorcycle items and prizes, according to the news release.

Tickets went on sale Tuesday and can be purchased on [this website only].

The charity that will benefit from the Love Ride this year is the Wounded Warrior Project, a nonprofit whose goal is to raise awareness, the public and other injured service members to help meet the needs of injured service members with services and programs, according to their website.

Thousands of riders, led by Jay Leno, will ride from Harley-Davidson of Glendale, CA, to Castaic Lake where they will meet up with the multi-platinum, eleven-time Grammy winning band, Foo Fighters, according to the news release.

The Love Ride was founded in 1984 and the festival has raised more tha $24 million for organizations, according to the news release. The Muscular Dystrophy Association, United Service Organization, Autism Speaks, and Glendale Community College have benefitted from the event.
