One Step From Becoming Law
I’m very proud to announce that on October 1, my first piece of legislation passed the Senate floor and is on its way to the President’s desk for signature. H.R. 1390, the Small Business Joint Venturing Act, would make the federal government’s contract bidding process more cost-effective and competitive for the small businesses in our community. Earlier this week I attended the first formal hearing of the Republican Policy Committee’s Law Enforcement Task Force. We had a productive conversation about improving relationships between local police departments and the communities they serve. Read about it here.
