Tip of the Week: Fireworks Safety
Independence Day is only a month away, and many of us have already started planning our family events. With that, we must remember that all types of fireworks, including those marked ‘safe and sane’, are illegal in the Santa Clarita Valley. The Santa Clarita Valley offers three professional firework shows (Westfield Mall, Stevenson Ranch, and Magic Mountain) all of which are easily visible from just about anywhere in the city. We must remember that our city has been in a drought for the last two years, and fire hazards are very high. Take advantage of the free shows, and have a safe celebration.
