Speaking at the AVIATION Forum about my aeronautics bill

Terrific Tours
The Aeronautics Innovation Act
Last Tuesday I introduced H.R. 5466, the Aeronautics Innovation Act, which lays out a bold vision to revitalize America’s commitment to the study, design, and manufacturing of advanced aircraft. Our aeronautics programs sustain our military dominance and fuel the next great leaps in the civil air transportation system on which all Americans rely. I look forward to working with my colleagues in Congress, with the relevant agencies, and with our partners in the private sector to make this vision a reality. Read more here.

Thank you to the Meraz family from Palmdale and the Borjas family from Santa Clarita for stopping by my DC Office last week. It was great meeting all of you! Visit my websiteto learn about how my office can help set up tours for you and your family in Washington, DC.

St. Francis Dam Memorial Bill Headed to the House Floor
Exciting news! The Saint Francis Dam Disaster National Memorial Act passed the House Natural Resources Committee on Wednesday with unanimous, bipartisan support. It is now on its way to the House floor. More here.

The Best Defense…
On June 16th I was proud to vote in support of H.R. 5293, the Department of Defense appropriations bill for FY 2017.This legislation supports our men and women in the military by giving them a much-deserved pay raise and the tools they need to protect our country and our way of life. Not only does it fully fund programs that will defend our nation in the 21st century like the B-21 and the Triton, which are both manufactured by our neighbors right here in our community, it also provides our military with the resources they need to continue the fight against terrorists organizations.

Calling All Interns
