The City of Santa Clarita will host its third annual free Summer Bash, a beach-themed street party for the entire community to enjoy. Residents will be entertained with activities, food trucks, drinks, music and more as the beach comes to Santa Clarita on Friday, July 29, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in Canyon Country on Luther Drive, between Soledad Canyon Road and Mandan Street.
“Summer Bash is a great opportunity to come together in Canyon Country, celebrate summer and a have a good time,” said Mayor Bob Kellar. “People of all ages love the activities and live music offered, making it one of the City’s most popular events.”
Attendees can enjoy sliding down a 20-foot Kraken-themed dual slide and also make their way through an inflated tropical obstacle course. Thrill seekers will be able to test their abilities climbing a 20-foot rock wall and also see how long they can last riding a mechanical shark.
Residents have the opportunity to make their way toward food trucks and purchase a variety of food from Tainamite, The Grilled Cheese Truck, Los Ruizenores and Kona Ice. For adults who are thirsty, a beer garden will be available from Route 66 Classic Grill.
Residents can also dance and listen to music featuring local cover band Rebel Heart, who will entertain the crowd with current country hits, classic rock and original tunes.
