That’s it?!?
He needs years behind bars.
Wow, unbelievable! He runs a red light, hits a young man and kills him and he gets 60 days in jail?? Best believe if it was my 20 year old son that struck and killed this young man, he would be serving years behind bars in prison!!
Wow ?
Wow does our system fail us!
60 days for vehicular manslaughter? Murder? Wow
60 days is utterly shameful.
I’m disgusted
Are you flipping kidding me !!! 60 days. ?
Manslaughter ?
This is a miscarriage of “Justice?” .
Wow Karla
Wow
Awesome lawyer, sheesh. Poor kid
Poor gramps
Poor every1
How is 60 days justice?!?!?!?!
Ok seriously now. Someone needs to explain this to me in the same way the stupid judge thought this to be justice. I’m numb. Dumbfounded.?
Judge not, less you be judged!
Wow but if it was a African or mexican it would be a life sentence Jessica Razo
Not true. A family friend of mine and her boyfriend were killed by a Hispanic woman and she only got 90 days
Mackenzie Kimes I dought it . Ppl are racist now a days SMFH
Johnny Vm
Jessica Razo people are racist I’m not denying it. However I wouldn’t call his sentence white privilege since this Hispanic woman killed two people via vehicle manslaughter and only got ninety days. The man didn’t kill the kid on purpose or left the scene and is probably paying heavy fines and was sued by the family as well.
Oh get over yourself.
60 days is more than enough. Sad situation.
This is insane ?
what if the driver would’ve been Hispanic or black???
Email the judge
Hilary already deleted it.
You are a beautiful looking little skating kid!!!!!!
No mention as to whether his drivers license was revoked, so I assume that it wasn’t. What exactly does it take for a guy who a year before did exactly the same thing (ran a red light)to get it? The judge said, “I hope this sends a message…” It probably did, but basically the message was “keep doing what you’re doing, because the penalty for running red lights and killing a kid in a crosswalk is less than being caught with a couple of joints.”
yes his license was revoked in January.Yes he was ticketed as the light was turning red, like no one in this country hasn’t done that “oops I just went through a red light” The lawyers and paper say it was an accident, not intentional homicide. People want to hang this old man for something he’ll live with for what 10,15 more years.Forever in his heart. Is everyone here perfect?? This was a tragic ending of this sweet little boys life. Pain no parent should have to experience.
Lindsay Lohan got 90 days and spent a whopping 84 minutes in the overcrowded jails before being released for far less than killing someone.
It’s far easier to figure out the cost on upgrades to a hotel room or calculate permanent disability for work comp than it is to understand how judges factor in age, repeat offenses, race of victim, victim age, and any driver impairment .oh wait they don’t . How about transparency ?Create sentencing charts showing how time served is actually calculated.
we have a system to rate permanent impairment in the workplace. why can’t we have a logical rating string for calculating a sentence for each crime that factors in all the elements and is not left to feelings, sentiment, bias, or side bar relationships by the judge.
With a previous infraction for running a red light and then he runs a red light again, speeds and takes the life of a young innocent young teen he still only got 60 days?? Someone needs to check that judge!! He needs to be recalled from the bench. Such a miscarriage of justice!!
Everyone here is crazy. The judge did nothing wrong. He doesn’t deserve more. It doesn’t have anything to do with white, black, brown, or whatever color you are. The crime he committed only carries a maximum sentence of one year in jail. It is a misdemeanor. He did not intentionally kill this boy. He got two months. One year or two months will not bring this child back. AND, the mom was expecting no time. Read the law, and then you will understand why he got what he got.
