sandfire080116A benefit barbecue will be held in September to help four firefighters and their families who lost their homes in the Sand Fire.

The event will be held at Rancho Deluxe at 16030 Placerita Canyon Road, Santa Clarita on Sept. 10 form 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The event is being hosted by Steve and Diane Arklin and Habitat for Humanity San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valley

Congressman Steve Knight and his wife, Lily Knight, are expected to be in attendance.

Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased [here].

  1. Shouldn’t this benefit ALL of the families that lost their homes?

    • I agree, but it’s devastating when they fought the fire n lost their home. There’s no reason why we should hope n pray for more benefits to support all the families, lives can’t be replaced but homes can be rebuilt. Hope your o.k., prayers for all devastated.
