Got Fines? Bring Food!

During the month of September, in partnership with the Santa Clarita Valley Food Pantry, we will be launching our first-ever Food for Fines program allowing customers to donate one food item (list of items most needed) to waive up to $20 of overdue library fines or replacement card fees.Up to $20 waived per person/account.


Storytimes Begin September 12

Storytimes begin again on Monday, September 12th at all three Santa Clarita Public Library branches.  For a complete list of storytimes and fall programming for children, please visit the Santa Clarita Library Events calendar.


Join Us For A “Thrilling” Dinner

Tickets for the Friends of Santa Clarita Public Library’s 2nd Annual Author Dinner go on sale on Friday, August 19, 2016 at all three Santa Clarita Public Library locations.  Tickets are $35 each or $25 with a Friends of the Library membership and include a catered dinner.For more information about the author dinner and the Friends of Santa Clarita Public Library please visit SantaClaritaFOL.com.


Calling All Teenagers to Join the Teen Advisory Board

Teens in grades 7-12 are invited to make their voices heard and help shape teen library services and programs by joining the Teen Advisory Board at their local branch. Meetings are held monthly during the school year and begin in September.

Join Ryan Gibson for a presentation on “Writing for the Big Screen.”

This new program series will explore aspects of the film and television industry as well as speak with those who have knowledge of creating videos.
