The Michael Hoefflin Foundation is in need of auction items and auction prep volunteers for their annual An Evening Under the Stars Gala Dinner and Charity Auction on September 17.

Auction Prep Volunteers Needed

If you have some time and can come by the office in the next two weeks. They have many items that need to be packaged and wrapped, an have all of the supplies needed.

If scrap-booking is more your style, they always need help making auction boards. Give them a call at 661-250-4100 to let them know when you can come in and help.

They are also still filling volunteer positions for the Evening Under the Stars Event on Saturday, September 17.

Auction Items Needed

They are accepting auction item donations for the 23rd Annual An Evening Under the Stars Gala Dinner and Charity Auction on September 17th.

You can help by donating new, unused items or gift cards or certificates for services that they can use in the auction. Monetary donations are welcome as well.

Auction volunteers have compiled a wish list and have provided some suggestions below:

-A bottle of your favorite wine
-Girl Hero Basket (Wonder Woman, Supergirl, etc.)
-Super Hero items (Captain America, Flash, Superman, etc)
-Disney Princess items
-Dog Grooming services
-BBQ/Backyard entertaining items (no cooking utensils)
-Dodger Fan Gear – T-shirt, caps, etc.
-Best Buy gift card
-Barnes & Noble gift card
-BevMo gift card
-Star Wars items
-Pokemon items
-Concert, Theater or Sporting Event tickets
-Magic Mountain tickets
-Man Cave items
-Gift certificates to California microbreweries
-Handyman Basket Items (tools, HomeDepot/Lowes gift card)
-Ladies accessory items: handbag, clutch, wallet, etc.
-Spa or Salon gift card/certificates (manicure, pedicure, hair salon)
-An item from your favorite boutique
-Christmas basket items
-Halloween basket items
-Golf Foursomes at SoCal golf courses or country clubs
-Airfare/airline tickets
-Weekend-Getaway items (dinner gift cards, hotel stays, etc.)
-Vacation Getaway – do you own a vacation home or timeshare in Big Bear, Mammoth, Palm Springs, Hawaii, etc. that you could donate a week for a get away?

Anything you can contribute will help assist families facing the devastating effects of childhood cancer. Give them a call at 661-250-4100 for drop off information or to make arrangements for local pick up. They would like to have the items as soon as possible in order to prepare them for the event.
