Guests can participate in art workshops and be mentored by Tierra’s award-winning artists, who prove that art knows no disabilities. Additionally, ceramics will be on sale from our traditional craft studio, “The Blvd”.
All proceeds will benefit Tierra Del Sol, a non-profit organization, that serves more than 670 adults daily with developmental disabilities such as autism and Down’s syndrome. For almost half a century Tierra has been empowering individuals with developmental disabilities to overcome cognitive, physical, emotional and behavioral challenges, helping them realize their greatest human potential. Through a variety of educational, work and volunteer opportunities, Tierra is helping these individuals discover their own unique talents and abilities and contribute to their families and communities.
Many of Tierra’s clients will be on hand to greet guests with a ready smile and will oversee the various attractions so visiting parents and their children can see firsthand how people with disabilities overcome their challenges to become productive members of our diverse society. JOIN US!
