VII.G. Therapy in Action – Individual Service Agreement (ISA) Student #106196

Rationale:
The District is required to contract with nonpublic agencies (NPA) and nonpublic schools (NPS) when necessary to provide special education services for District / Regional students who require those services per their Individual Education Plan.  The District contracts for these specialized services only when absolutely necessary.  Student listed in Individual Service Agreement
(ISA) is receiving such services.
Recommended Motion:
Approve ISA.

Funded through the Regional program.
VII.H. Call for Special Meeting – Wednesday, March 15, 2017 8:00AM

The State Board of Education approved key elements of a new integrated accountability and continuous improvement system that will evaluate local educational agencies’ and schools’ performance in areas critical to students’ preparedness for college and career.

The California School Dashboard is the new accountability system that integrates local, state, and federal accountability. The Dashboard includes state and local performance standards for all LCFF priorities.

Rationale:
The Board of Trustees may vote for up to the number of vacancies in the region or subregion indicated on the CSBA Delegate Assembly Ballot. Each Board Member may cast no more than one vote for any one candidate.
Recommended Motion:
It is recommended that that Board of Trustees discuss the CSBA Delegate Assembly Election and place their votes (no more than 3 candidates) on the 2017 Delegate Assembly Ballot for Region 22 (Los Angeles County).

X.A. Santa Clarita Valley 2nd Annual Youth Art Showcase

Rationale:
The Sulphur Springs Union School District will participate in the Santa Clarita Valley 2nd Annual Youth Art Showcase on Saturday, March 25, 2017 from 11 to 3 PM at the Santa Clarita Activities Centre.  The District Band will perform from 12:50 to 1:20PM.  The District will host an interactive arts booth with three different A(rts) activities focused on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics).
