The Small Business Development Center, or SBDC, at College of the Canyons will host a Veteran Entrepreneurship Series Parts 1 and 2 workshop at the University Center at COC on Friday, June 30 from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Free for veterans, military (active and inactive) and their spouses, the sessions are part of the SBDC’s entrepreneurship series. Lunch is also included.
The series will highlight entrepreneurship as an option to generate income, cash flow and steps to start a formal business.
Participants will also learn about resources for starting and growing a business or transitioning current activity into a formal business.
Part 1 begins at 9:30, and Part 2 at 10:45. A veteran speaker is scheduled to speak during lunch from noon to 1 p.m.
