[A.Allbright] – Joshua Abramson, president of A.Allbright Painting Inc., announced that his company will be serving the Santa Clarita Valley Food Pantry this year with its $7,500 Paint It Forward charity event.
During a tough year when many families are struggling, the Santa Clarita Valley Food Pantry is working hard to serve our community by providing food to the hungry. For 25 years this worthy organization has supplied food to families in need. Staffed by generous volunteers and supported by donations, the SCV Food Pantry distributes more than one million pounds of food per year.
“We were so excited and grateful to hear that the SCV Food Pantry had won the award,” said Belinda Crawford, Executive Director of the Pantry. “It means so much to us that Joshua and the folks at A.Allbright are willing to put a fresh new face on our 50-year-old building.”
With the building currently suffering from chipped and peeling paint, the volunteers are looking forward to a more attractive and welcoming environment for the clients.
Abramson began the Paint It Forward event as an annual way to give something back to the community he appreciates so deeply. It has become a highlight of each year as the company receives scores of nominations and gets to choose a family or charity to serve. This March, the whole staff and crew of A. Allbright Painting will be showing up for a fun day of painting, encouraging, eating and community building. With all of the labor and materials donated for the event, the value of the prize is $7,500.
