Los Angeles County Fire is reporting 80 percent containment on the 126 acre fire that broke out around 4 p.m. Tuesday in Acton.

A single wide mobile home, outbuildings, two vehicles, and semi trailers loaded with cargo were damaged by the fire, according to Stephanie English, LA County Fire Community Services Liaison. There were no firefighter or civilian injuries and the mandatory evacuation has been lifted.  Roads are open and and the Metrolink is 100 percent operational..

Los Angeles County Fire is reporting 100 percent containment on the 126 acre fire that broke out around 4 p.m. Tuesday in Acton.

Tuesday, May 8, 6:17 p.m.

Los Angeles County Fire is reporting 30 percent containment on the 40 acre fire. According to their Twitter feed, “fixed-wing aircraft have been released. Fire laying down, units making excellent progress. Mainly hotspots left.”

Incident Command has approved the resumption of Metrolink service through the affected fire area. The trains will move slowly while they travel through Acton on their way to the Antelope Valley.

Possible evacuations at Piloso Oso Ranch.

Soledad Canyon at Crown Valley Road remains closed.

Los Angeles County Fire reporting the fire has spread to 40 acres. An additional helicopter has been deployed. On structure has burned, but officials didn’t know if it was a residence or an outbuilding.

CHP is reporting the fire has burned through Bootlegger Canyon Road in a south/west direction.

Possible evacuations at Piloso Oso Ranch.

Soledad Canyon at Crown Valley Road remains closed.

The fire has spread to 20 acres, with winds picking up. One structure is threatened. Three hundred personnel are on scene with four helicopters overhead.

California Highway Patrol is reporting southbound Highway 14 shutdown at Crown Valley Road, no shutdown on the northbound lanes.

According to the California Highway Patrol the Metrolink has been stopped in the area.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department is reporting a three acre, three alarm fire at the  4700 block of Crown Valley Road and Arrastre Canyon. Fire officials say the fire began just before 4 p.m. There are structures in the area, but none are currently being threatened. Officials say there is “not a big wind” as they try to contain the fire.
