Ed Colley
[Supv. Antonovich] – Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich has reappointed Edward A. Colley to the Los Angeles County Commission on Disabilities.
A resident of Castaic, Colley has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Castaic Lake Water Agency since 2003. He is a retired United States Air Force Captain where he served as a Space Systems Engineer including an assignment to Germany as the Senior Engineer for the European Space Systems Ground Site where he was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal. He is currently an instructor of Senior Aerospace Science and Air Force JROTC at William S. Hart High School. Colley is treasurer of Pleasantview Industries as well as Director on the Devil’s Den Water District Board. Additionally, he is a peer mentor for the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors.
Colley holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology and a Public Education Administration Credential from National University.
The Los Angeles County Commission on Disabilities advises the Board of Supervisors on a range of issues affecting the lives of people with disabilities and of actions they can take to achieve a barrier free County where people with disabilities have equal access to programs and services. The Commission focuses on issues of health, employment, education, transportation, access, and recreation.
