The Hart football team is back on the road in search of its first win of the season.
Hart plays Kennedy of La Palma tonight at Western High School.
The Indians lost to Tesoro, 10-7, to open the season last week.
Kennedy has lost its first two games of the season. Last week, Marina beat Kennedy, 23-14.
In college soccer, the College of the Canyons women’s team played to a 1-1 draw against Fresno City College in the Lady Cougars home opener.

In high school volleyball, the Saugus girls swept Highland in three games in their season opener. Makena Wasserman led Saugus with 10 kills. Setter Ashley Guthrie had 22 assists and five aces.
The Trinity girls swept Albert Einstein Academy to win their first match of the season. Julia Howell had seven kills for Trinity.
In high school tennis, the West Ranch girls beat Louisville, 13-5, to win their first match of the season.
The Valencia girls lost to San Marino, 14-4.
In high school golf, the West Ranch girls beat Burbank by 61 strokes in a match at Vista Valencia. Julie Ward and Josie Lionetti each shot 5-over 38s to lead the Wildcats.
On Tuesday, the West Ranch and Golden Valley girls tied in a match at Elkins Ranch Golf Course in Fillmore.
Both teams shot 242 and both teams remained undefeated. West Ranch’s Elise Pierre shot a 5-over 41 to lead the Wildcats.
The Hart girls golf team lost to Alemany by three strokes in a match at El Cariso Golf Course in Sylmar.
Jamie Corr shot the low round of the match, a 2-under 34.
In the NFL, the Dallas Cowboys beat the New York Giants, 24-17, in the season opener. Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo threw three touchdown passes against the reigning Super Bowl champs.
The Dodgers lost to the Padres for the second night in a row. This time the Padres won 4-3.
The Dodgers are off to San Francisco for a crucial weekend series against the Giants. The Dodgers trail the National League West leading Giants by 4 ½ games. The series starts on Friday night.
