[Hart Regiment] – The William S. Hart Marching Band and Colorguard began their 2012 competition season by earning Sweepstakes at the Wildcat Classic hosted by West Ranch High School on Saturday, Oct. 6. The Southern California School Band and Orchestra Association (SCSBOA) judged the competition.
“This was a great start to the season,” said Hart Regiment Band Director, Anthony Bailey. “On Monday, we will get right to work, building on this success.”
The band and colorguard have been rehearsing the show since August, while staff and parent volunteers put in hours of time behind the scenes. All their effort resulted in Saturday night’s exemplary performance of their 2012 show “Witch Among Us”. Bailey said, “I’m so proud of this group. They have a great attitude.”
