For the fifth consecutive year, Thanksgiving means high school football on Santa Clarita’s only local television channel.  SCVTV will air every game it cablecast during the 2013 season during the High School Football Thanksgiving Marathon on Thursday and Friday.

It all begins Thursday at 7 am with the 2013 High School Football Preview 1-hour special. The following non-league schedule will be televised on Thanksgiving Day:

 

8 am Hawthorne vs. West Ranch

10:30 am Clovis West vs. Canyon

1 pm Buena vs. Saugus

3:45 pm Ridgeview vs. Hart

5:45 pm Santa Monica vs. Valencia

8:30 pm Saugus vs. Camarillo

 

League games will be televised Friday during the following times:

 

8 am Hart vs. West Ranch

10:30 am Valencia vs. West Ranch

1 pm Canyon vs. Valencia

3:45 pm Saugus vs. Golden Valley

6 pm West Ranch vs. Saugus

 

See Canyon’s all-state quarterback Cade Apsay in his final season before going to play football at the University of Colorado; the performances of record-setting Hart running back Connor Wingenroth; the Valencia Vikings march to their fifth consecutive league championship behind senior quarterback Jake Wallace.

DVDs of each game are available for $20 and every game is archived online at SCVTV.com/football.
