In a game that came down to the final shot, the College of the Canyons women’s basketball came up short against Moorpark College Saturday afternoon, falling 74-72, at the Cougar Cage.

Moorpark (12-8, 3-1) opened with a 12-5 run, but the Cougars closed the gap to a one-point deficit, 33-32, with 4:19 remaining in the half.
