webuildNAPW, National Association of Professional Women, Santa Clarita is hosting Charity Fashion Show to benefit “WE Build” Women Empowerment Build program of Habitat for Humanity SFV/SCV. Fashionable, stylish and on trend, giving back is the way to go. A world where everyone has a decent place to live is Habitat for Humanity’s motto with special emphasis placed on women’s empowerment in their “WE Build” program and building homes and self-sufficiency through their veterans program.

Frock The Runway” Charity Fashion Show will take place on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Courtyard Marriott Hotel, 28523 Westinghouse Place, Santa Clarita, CA 91355. Sign in will start at 9:30am and event will begin from 10:00am to 1:30pm. Clothing are provided by Chico’s of Westfield Town Center Valencia. When you shop at Chico’s on Sunday, February 9, proceeds will support the Habitat for Humanity. Chico’s 24201 West Valencia Boulevard, Valencia, CA 91355.

CSUN Baseball honored one of the most prolific Matadors in the team history last Saturday as former All-American shortstop and World Series Champion Adam Kennedy's No. 40 was retired in center field in a special pregame ceremony.
