EARTH/ARBOR DAY* – Activity Booths (12+) and Tree Planting (3+)
Date: Saturday, April 12th
Time: Various Shifts
Location: Central Park
Duties: Assist with set-up, volunteer check-in, handouts, tree planting, clean-up, breakdown, and more.

EGGSTRAVAGANZA PREPARATION* – Youth and Teens (10+)
Date: Monday, April 14th
Time: 3:30 – 5:30pm
Location: Activities Center
Duties: Assist staff with the sorting and stuffing of plastic eggs.

EGGSTRAVAGANZA EGG HUNT* – Teens (13+) and Adults
Date: Saturday, April 19th
Time: 8 – 11am
Location: Central Park
Duties: Assist with set-up, egg distribution, prizes, clean-up, and more.

SPLASH & DASH EGG HUNT* – Teens (14+) and Adults
Date: Saturday, April 19th
Time: 8:30am – 12:30pm
Location: Aquatics Center
Duties: Assist with set-up, directing parents and children, handing out prizes, clean-up, and more.

COWBOY FESTIVAL* – Teens (15+) and Adults
Dates: Tuesday, April 22nd – Sunday, April 27th
Times: Various Shifts
Locations: Various
Duties: Assist with check-in, information, ushering, merchandise, shuttle host, and more. Volunteers must pre-register and attend an informational meeting (Round-Up) on Wednesday, April 2nd, at 7pm at City Hall in the Council Chambers.

COWBOY FESTIVAL* – Youth and Teens (11+)
Dates: Saturday, April 26th – Sunday, April 27th
Times: Various Shifts
Location: Melody Ranch
Duties: Take food orders from vendors, deliver food, keep food court area clean, and more. Volunteers must pre-register and attend an informational meeting (Teen Round-Up) on Wednesday, April 9th, at 6pm in the Aquatics Center.

WINGS FOR LIFE WORLD RUN – Youth, Teens, and Adults
Date: Sunday, May 4th
Time: Various Shifts

Duties: Assist with bib pick-up, check-in, passing out water, and more.

AMGEN TOUR OF CALIFORNIA – Adults (18+)
Dates: Friday, May 16th – Saturday, May 17th
Times: 9am – 12pm

Duties: Assist with media check-in, crowd control, course marshaling, and more.

MASTERS SWIM MEET* – Youth, Teens, and Adults (12+)
Date: Sunday, May 18th
Time: 8:30am – 4pm
Location: Aquatics Center
Duties: Assist Aquatics staff by serving as runners, deck marshals, timers, and more.

COUNSELOR IN TRAINING (Registration is open) – Teens (15-17)
Dates: Monday, June 16th – Friday, August 8th
Times: Various Shifts
Locations: Various
Duties: Work directly with the Camp Clarita program in a volunteer role.
Volunteers must be either a Sophomore or Junior in high school by fall 2014 and must have possession of, or ability to obtain, an Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED/First Aid certification by June 12, 2014. This position may volunteer up to 20 hrs/wk and is based on the needs of the program; Monday – Friday.

Times: T/Th, 10am – 12pm
Location: Old Town Newhall Library
Duties: Work alongside the teacher to provide translation between the teacher and the students.

HOMEWORK HELPERS – Teens and Adults(14+)
Date: Present – June
Times: Varies upon location
Locations: Granada Villa, Park Sierra, Newhall and Canyon Country Community Centers
Duties: Tutor at after-school programs located at various city sites.

COACHES, ASST. COACHES, SCOREKEEPERS, & OFFICIALS – Adults (18+)
Dates & Times: Various Seasons
