I grew up in a ghetto, it’s nothing like SCV in it’s worst areas. Still, I don’t think berating or name calling someone for referring to an area they live in as such due to criminal or drug related activity is necessary. I don’t believe you have to be a snob to have concerns about the negative occurrences that happen where you live.
