BookKeeping_Express_LogoBookKeeping Express, the first U.S. franchise focused solely on bookkeeping services, has opened its first office in Santa Clarita, serving businesses throughout Santa Clarita Valley. BookKeeping Express offers much-needed services to businesses with a team of certified bookkeepers, so business owners can get back to doing what they do best.

“We help business owners achieve three key objectives: increase profits, optimize cash flow and get ready for tax season,” said Cindy Schreiber, franchise owner of the BookKeeping Express of Santa Clarita.

“As a new member of the Santa Clarita Chamber of Commerce, I am excited about serving the local small business community and the opportunity to help fellow entrepreneurs prosper and grow.”

By combining technology and people, the BookKeeping Express of Santa Clarita offers a full range of bookkeeping and financial reporting services traditionally reserved for Fortune 5000 companies. Services include monthly data entry, general ledger, account reconciliation, accounts payable/accounts receivable, monthly financial reports, payroll, bill pay, merchant services and benchmarking performance against industry standards. Services are customized for each business based on their own needs, and provided at an affordable flat monthly fee.

“We can offer the small business owner access to an entire accounting department for only those few hours per month when they actually need it. Without the proper procedures in place, we see too many business owners negatively impacted by falling behind on financial records,” said Schreiber. “We understand how easy it is for business owners to get behind on their bookkeeping, and we want to alleviate that stress and give them more time to spend in other areas of their business.”

From a technology standpoint, the BookKeeping Express of Santa Clarita has the tools and applications necessary to provide financial information to local business owners in real time, but they also understand how important it is to give clients the face time and accessibility they want and deserve.

Schreiber most recently worked as a Finance and Operations Manager at a leading plastics distributor and prior to that she was a freelance paralegal. Outside of work, Schreiber is very active in her local community. She volunteers with the Child and Family Center’s Women’s Auxiliary, as well as Habitat for Humanity, and she recently became a member of Soroptomist International of Greater Santa Clarita Valley.

“At the end of the day, we’re in the business of helping others grow their businesses, and through innovative technology and excellent customer service, we know that we can achieve this goal,” said Schreiber.
