It is impossible for me to believe that this man can know anything about poor people, and more importantly, care. This is man who rants about POOR refugees coming to America and how they allegedly suck up our resources turning around and If he really cares about the poor, he’ll resign tomorrow and ride off on his white horse and Hopalong Cassidy outfit.

Very weak argument for being against banning plastic bags.
When I toured the Chiquita Canyon Landfill, they stated that there are a lot of plastic bags that end up in the landfill. I always carry my cloth bags when I shop and use them. Maybe the 10 cent brown paper bag fee could go towards giving free reusable cloth bags to low income residents. We need to be conscious about what goes into our landfills.
