In the daytime hours on Tuesday, August 26, Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station patrol deputies responded to a pre-school located in the 24600 block of Walnut Street, Newhall. Deputies discovered a burglary and vandalism occurred sometime overnight.
Unknown suspects entered the pre-school, stole items, and vandalized the school. When school staff arrived in the morning hours, interior cabinets were open, paint was spilled on the floors, and items were stolen from the classroom. Staff also noticed a strong odor of alcohol in the building.
Upon further investigation, black paint was spilled on the floor and carpeting in the hallway area. Orange, black, and purple paint were spilled over the outside cement floor, the building and classroom walls, and a chain link fence. A trash bag was found containing several cans of beer on the campus.
Items stolen from inside the school included hand puppets, a textured domino set, a camera, microphone, batteries, and an iPod charger. These items were educational tools used to teach young children.

At least they were kind enough to leave beer cans with their DNA on them
Teenagers out for a cheap thrill. So low.
Speak English, man!
It’s sad when somebody does something like this to a preschool. It’s never right to vandalize someone’s property, most of all a place where 3 and 4 year old kids go to learn and play.
