11th Annual Child & Family Center Kid Expo
Sunday, October 12
Don’t miss Child & Family Center’s eleventh annual Kid Expo on Sunday, October 12th at Golden Valley High School, 27051 Robert C. Lee Parkway in Canyon Country, from 11am to 4pm. Admission is $5 for each adult and FREE for children. Each year over 7,000 attended this much anticipated event. Every dollar raised goes directly to Child & Family Center, which provides mental health and behavioral services to over 600 local children each week.
Providence Holy Cross Medical Center is once again proud to be the title sponsor of the event. “This is a really fun event, and a great way for Providence Holy Cross to connect with families living in Santa Clarita,” said Bernie Klein, MD, Chief Executive, Providence Holy Cross Medical Center.
Kid Expo features over 100 exhibitors from the Santa Clarita Valley showcasing services and activities for children, and gives families a chance to spend the day together, while supporting Child & Family Center.
Child & Family Center’s Young Leadership Corps (YLC) is organizing this year’s event. The YLC is a group of up and coming leaders in the Santa Clarita community who are dedicated to volunteering and giving back. “We’re proud to be presenting Kid Expo this year,” said the group’s president Neil Fitzgerald. “When you come to the event and feel the energy and see the children and their parents having such a great time, it’s very rewarding to be an instrumental part of such a great experience!”
