Saugus, Zone 4 Update

Snapshot: 11/24/2014 – 11/30/2014
The following Part 1 crimes were reported in Saugus over the past week:
There was an assault with a deadly weapon reported in the 30200 block of Bouquet Canyon Road on November 24th. The victim reported his friend pointed a loaded firearm at him during an argument. Santa Clarita Station Detectives are handling the case.
A vehicle was reported stolen in the 21600 block of Spice Court on November 26th. The victim reported his motorcycle was stolen from his driveway. Deputies are searching for the motorcycle.
There was a vehicle burglary reported at the corner of Dedre Lane/Golden Valley Road between November 27th and 29th. The victim discovered his window smashed and a small amount of U.S. currency was taken from the vehicle. A second vehicle burglary was reported near the corner of Shawana Place/Oakridge Drive on November 25th. Unknown person(s) broke into the victim’s work van and stole a large quantity of carpet cleaning equipment. Detectives are looking into both incidents.
We had a petty theft in the 28000 block of Seco Canyon Road in the early morning hours of November 25th. An employee of the business discovered gasoline had been siphoned from a bus at the location overnight. Detectives are checking if this incident is related to other similar thefts in the valley.
Crime Prevention Tip: Please remember to lock you vehicle when leaving it unattended. Take any items of value with you or secure them out of view or in the trunk of your vehicle. Thefts from unlocked vehicles are typically crimes of opportunity. The best defense to this type of crime is to not give the thief a chance in the first place.

Nice to hear they were able to work things out….
ok i just want to know the status of jared snyder, were charges filed or just swept under the rug. the signal took down comments which were overwhelming against this man. has the district come to a final outcome… please someone let the rest of us know why we are still paying this man his salary for doing nothing, what is going on?
