The Southern California Football Association (SCFA) has announced its 2014 All-League Teams, with College of the Canyons having nine players included among the honorees from the National Division, Northern League.
In total the Cougars occupy 10 of the first and second team roster spots, with sophomore wide receiver/kick returner Tim White recognized as a First Team offensive selection for his receiving skills (55 catches for 667 yards and six touchdowns) and a First Team defensive selection for his prowess as a return specialist (29 kick returns for 812 yards and a touchdown).
Also included on the First Team offense was sophomore offensive lineman Cory McManus, who anchored an offensive line that saw the Cougars average 345 yards of total offense per game.
Defensively, the Cougars were represented on the First Team defense by sophomore safety Austin Murillo and sophomore defensive end Westly Johnson.

Johnson led the Cougars with 7.5 sacks and 9.5 tackles for loss, while tallying two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and 20 total tackles on the season. Murrillo ranked second on the team with 63 total tackles, while also registering a sack, two interceptions and a fumble recovery.
Freshman offensive lineman Egidio DellaRipa earned a selection to the Second Team offense, where he was joined by COC quarterbacks Tony Dawson and Devon Dunn.
Dawson, a sophomore and 2013 All-League selection, was the Cougars primary starter under center, but rotated with the freshman Dunn throughout the season. Both quarterbacks played in all 10 games with each having a significant impact from week to week.
Dawson ended the 2014 season 84-for-162 with 1,057 passing yards for a 51.9 percent completion rate, eight touchdowns and six interceptions. The speedy sophomore also had 122 rush attempts for 537 yards and eight touchdowns, to lead the team in all three categories.
Dunn was equally efficient through the air, completing 59-of-118 passes for a 50 percent completion rate, 790 yards, six touchdowns and three interceptions. The freshman also posted three rushing touchdowns to rank second on the team.
Sophomore middle linebacker Kenneth Jacobs was named a Second Team defense honoree, after being credited with 98 total tackles, including five for loss, and a sack.
Punter Andrew Jimenez also earned Second Team defense honors, with the freshman averaging 39 yard per punt on 27 attempts.
