Dino Guglielmelli

Dino Guglielmelli

“48 Hours” will be airing an episode that investigates a murder-for-hire case about a local businessman’s plot to kill his wife.

Dino Guglielmelli, 53, lived in the Sand Canyon area of Canyon Country when he hired his now ex-business partner Rick Fuhrmann to kill his wife, model Monica Andreny.

Guglielmelli’s business Creation’s Garden was doing well in 2009, with over 200 employees and millions of dollars in assets but he and his wife were going through a bitter divorce.

Fuhrmann originally sought Guglielmelli out in order to start a small online supplement business but gradually became friends with him.

Guglielmelli then propositioned Fuhrmann with an $80,000 deal to have Andreny killed.

Fuhrmann reported several recordings and statements made by Guglielmelli to a detective in the Sheriff’s Department’sGuglielmellicouple Major Crimes Bureau.

Fuhrmann and Sheriff’s Department officials set up an Oct. 1 lunch between Fuhrmann and Guglielmelli, in which Fuhrmann recorded Guglielmelli discussing the completion of an alleged $80,000 deal to have Andreny killed, according to evidence presented at Los Angeles County Superior Court in San Fernando.

Guglielmelli was arrested in October of 2009 and was convicted of nine years in state prison in June 2014.

The episode titled “The millionaire, the model & the hit man” will air Saturday night at 10/9c on CBS.
