The 76.6-mile-long Antelope Valley Line has the third-highest ridership in Metrolink’s system with an estimated average of 9,000 passengers daily. However, the uneven terrain and single-tracking along the line in some areas forces trains to travel at a slower speed which results in an estimated travel time of approximately one hour between Santa Clarita and Union Station.

The wash people are allowed to do as they please
When I lived there you never heard of stuff like this happening, especially in Valencia.
Oh god forbid not in Valencia ?
Lol right
Oh,oh, Valencia is going to the dogs! Crime doesn’t have a zip code it just has opportunity. It’s social media folks. Can’t hide anything anymore? jakes way is sure quiet lately.?
that’s cos they’re all in jail. LOL
My point is, when I grew up there you just didn’t hear about this kind of thing. Everyone pretty much knew one another. Now the place is dripping with dope and the characters that accompany it.
Gotham city.. Run and hide
Thank you for the heads up and thanks to the Sheriff Dept. for their tireless work!
Jordan Turbyfill be on the look out bro.
Hope they catch him soon before he hurts someone
Could still be illegal

No enclosed parking structure; that’s at The Villas aka The Madison aka The Prado, lol. It’s across the street.
I really want to move out of this place! Beyond the three floods in my apt, mold, homeless bathing in the pool, and now robberies at gunpoint…why is my rent over $2200 per month?!
Move to Texas.
Cause ur retarded enough to pay it
and the State wants convict or prevent you for having a gun to defend yourself while they’re kicking the criminals loose a-la prop 47.
Not only that but they look like projects
They definitely don’t look like projects. They are very nice BUT yes over priced. As if everything around here now.
$2200,for that?
I could live on Jakes Way for half and have to deal with this BS!
You could love on jakes was for a third but this would be a lot more frequent…..
You don’t want to live there.

I’m just seeing this? Wtf.
Awesome town.
I live in a gated complex in Valencia & my car was broken into. Police say crime is on the rise in Valencia. I almost moved into the Promenades! Grew up here & moved back. Second guessing why I did…
I lived at Provence a few years ago and the problem was that they never updates the address book at the gate so everyone just gave their guests the gate code to get in. The gates just give you a false sense of security.
If I’ve had anything stolen, I hate to say it, but the cops act like it was my fault for having something nice enough to steal. And, “Do you really want me to write up a report???”

I know that :( this place is going down hill..
These 2 incidents are not the only incidents. 3 weeks ago a friend of our family encountered even worse…he was shot at going up to almost 2nd floor sounds like the same guy as mentioned here..didnt get robbed but was told to get on the floor at gun point and he ran off shooting his gun couple of times. Cops were notified immediately but still this guy is around the same complex??
near town center???,wow!!
Yes. At the promenade
I lived there 5 yrs ago. I liked the location but couldn’t stand all the partying that was going on during the week.
Sorry for party rocking, Anna. ;-)
Lmao Ken. You and your guitar hero are a menace to the apartment!
If you were truly awesome, Anna, you would’ve typed Lmfao. I fully expected it, and you disappointed me.
I haven’t truly blown the doors off with Rock Band (yet) at Promenade this time, but when Rock Band 4 comes out, I’m planning on doing exactly that! :-)
awesometown
Grateful to see this article since the complex tells us days later! Thanks Nikki Adams-Herrera
I got the email same day in both incidences
Careful Erin Lee
Yea this is my apartment. I was walking dogs when the first one happened and I talked to one of the police. Thanks for the tag. Scary.

This is very scary but it can happen anywhere. It does make promenade a bad place to live. Just need to pay attention to our surroundings. Be safe.
Did the robberies happen right at their apartments? Or, in the parking lot, etc?… Just wondering if he had been watching apartments to identify people to rob or if he randomly saw someone in the parking lot.

Wow

Yeah, we were told about it. I saw a cop patrolling the complex this morning though…

I’ve been walking Sarah out to her car every morning for work just in case. It’s getting pretty out of hand… This, plus the homeless from the wash, plus the bug problem outside, plus the attempted break in of our apartment… I like being in the middle of everything, but I don’t want anyone feeling unsafe just walking outside. These robberies happened once at 730am and once at 1130am, so the guy is so unstable he’s doing it in broad daylight.
Moving might be the right answer. Sarah’s parents want to rent out their house to us so, that may be an option… Maybe Kiishauna and Danny would want to check out the house and see if they’d even be interested.
Damn dude i didn’t realize it was that outta hand there…Get the eff outta there buddy
Oh and we need to grab some dranks soon!
