  6. No enclosed parking structure; that’s at The Villas aka The Madison aka The Prado, lol. It’s across the street.

  7. I really want to move out of this place! Beyond the three floods in my apt, mold, homeless bathing in the pool, and now robberies at gunpoint…why is my rent over $2200 per month?!

  8. I could live on Jakes Way for half and have to deal with this BS!

  9. John Gilbert John Gilbert says:

Wearing a hooded sweatshirt? That’ll be easy to find.

I used to live there. Way to expensive. I pay less for a 3 bedroom house in Saugus and a great neighborhood. Sorry to hear that woman are being targeted

  13. I live in a gated complex in Valencia & my car was broken into. Police say crime is on the rise in Valencia. I almost moved into the Promenades! Grew up here & moved back. Second guessing why I did…

    • I lived at Provence a few years ago and the problem was that they never updates the address book at the gate so everyone just gave their guests the gate code to get in. The gates just give you a false sense of security.

If I’ve had anything stolen, I hate to say it, but the cops act like it was my fault for having something nice enough to steal. And, “Do you really want me to write up a report???”

  14. These 2 incidents are not the only incidents. 3 weeks ago a friend of our family encountered even worse…he was shot at going up to almost 2nd floor sounds like the same guy as mentioned here..didnt get robbed but was told to get on the floor at gun point and he ran off shooting his gun couple of times. Cops were notified immediately but still this guy is around the same complex??

  15. Grateful to see this article since the complex tells us days later! Thanks Nikki Adams-Herrera

  16. Jo ? in a nice area

  18. Erin Lee Erin Lee says:

This is very scary but it can happen anywhere. It does make promenade a bad place to live. Just need to pay attention to our surroundings. Be safe.

  19. L H says:

Did the robberies happen right at their apartments? Or, in the parking lot, etc?… Just wondering if he had been watching apartments to identify people to rob or if he randomly saw someone in the parking lot.

  20. Complex has definitely gone down hill ever since providing section 8 housing!

    • I’ve been walking Sarah out to her car every morning for work just in case. It’s getting pretty out of hand… This, plus the homeless from the wash, plus the bug problem outside, plus the attempted break in of our apartment… I like being in the middle of everything, but I don’t want anyone feeling unsafe just walking outside. These robberies happened once at 730am and once at 1130am, so the guy is so unstable he’s doing it in broad daylight.

    • Moving might be the right answer. Sarah’s parents want to rent out their house to us so, that may be an option… Maybe Kiishauna and Danny would want to check out the house and see if they’d even be interested.

    • Robert Smith Robert Smith says:

Damn dude i didn’t realize it was that outta hand there…Get the eff outta there buddy
